Search for the decays $J/\psi\to\gamma \rho \phi$ and $J/\psi\to\gamma \rho \omega$
BES Collaboration

TL;DR
This study searches for specific rare decay modes of the J/psi particle using a large dataset, setting upper limits on their branching fractions due to no observed signals.
Contribution
First search for the decays $J/ o ho ho$ and $J/ o ho ho$ with upper limits on their branching fractions using BESII data.
Findings
No significant signals observed in the decay channels.
Upper limits on branching fractions are established.
Mass spectra show no clear structures.
Abstract
Using 58 million events collected with the Beijing Spectrometer (BESII) at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider, the decays and are searched for, and upper limits on their branching fractions are reported at the 90% C. L. No clear structures are observed in the , , or mass spectra for nor in the , , or mass spectra for .
