String Cosmology: A Review
Liam McAllister, Eva Silverstein

TL;DR
This review discusses the current state of string cosmology, highlighting its motivations, main challenges, and potential solutions, with emphasis on how string theory's structure informs cosmological models.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of string cosmology, emphasizing the role of ultraviolet-complete theories in addressing cosmological problems.
Findings
Identifies key problems in string cosmology.
Assesses proposed solutions within string theory.
Highlights the benefits of ultraviolet-complete frameworks.
Abstract
We give an overview of the status of string cosmology. We explain the motivation for the subject, outline the main problems, and assess some of the proposed solutions. Our focus is on those aspects of cosmology that benefit from the structure of an ultraviolet-complete theory.
