Thomas Schutzmeier

TL;DR
This paper reviews the recent progress in calculating NNLO QCD corrections to the inclusive anti-B -> X_s gamma decay, focusing on three-loop fermionic corrections to key matrix elements within the Standard Model.
Contribution
It presents new results on three-loop fermionic corrections to matrix elements of four-quark operators, advancing the precision of theoretical predictions for the decay rate.
Findings
Improved theoretical accuracy of decay rate calculations.
Enhanced understanding of fermionic corrections at NNLO.
Progress towards more precise Standard Model predictions.
Abstract
The theoretical status of NNLO QCD corrections to the inclusive radiative anti-B -> X_s gamma decay in the standard model is briefly overviewed. Emphasis is put on recent results for three-loop fermionic corrections to matrix elements of the most relevant four-quark operators.
