Quantum Shared Broadcasting
V. Giovannetti, A. S. Holevo

TL;DR
This paper generalizes quantum broadcasting to overlapping subsystems, analyzing conditions for approximate shared broadcasting and showing how overlap affects the feasibility of copying unknown quantum states.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized protocol for quantum broadcasting with overlapping subsystems and explores the conditions for its approximate implementation.
Findings
Feasibility depends on the degree of overlap among subsystems.
Conditions for approximate shared broadcasting are derived.
Overlap influences the success of quantum state copying.
Abstract
A generalization of quantum broadcasting protocol is presented. Here the goal is to copy an unknown input state into two subsystems which partially overlap. We show that the possibility of implementing these protocols strongly depends upon the overlap among the subsystems. Conditions for approximated shared broadcasting are analyzed.
