Interior of Nonuniform Black Strings
Burkhard Kleihaus, Jutta Kunz

TL;DR
This paper investigates the internal structure of nonuniform black strings, providing numerical evidence that the singularity approaches the horizon during a topology-changing transition.
Contribution
It offers new numerical insights into the behavior of singularities within nonuniform black strings near critical transitions.
Findings
Singularity touches the horizon at the transition point
Numerical evidence supports horizon topology change
Internal structure of black strings exhibits critical behavior
Abstract
We consider nonuniform black strings inside their event horizon. We present numerical evidence, that the singularity touches the horizon as the horizon topology changing transition is reached.
