TL;DR
This paper reports on a lattice QCD simulation with two dynamical overlap fermions, analyzing pseudoscalar meson properties and testing their agreement with two-loop chiral perturbation theory predictions.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed numerical study of light meson spectrum using overlap fermions with dynamical quarks and finite size effects.
Findings
Consistent pseudoscalar masses and decay constants with chiral perturbation theory
Validation of chiral symmetry preservation at finite lattice spacing
Finite size effects well-accounted for in the analysis
Abstract
We present numerical simulation of QCD with two dynamical quark flavors described by the overlap fermion action on a lattice. We calculate pseudo-scalar masses and decay constants and investigate their chiral properties. We test the consistency of our data with the two-loop chiral perturbation theory predictions, which should also be valid at finite lattice spacings because of the exact chiral symmetry, including the finite size effects.
