TL;DR
This paper proposes a method to measure tau polarization at the ILC and demonstrates how tau polarization analysis can differentiate between SUSY scenarios like mSUGRA and SUSY-GUT, aiding Dark Matter studies.
Contribution
It introduces a tau polarization measurement technique at the ILC and applies it to distinguish between different SUSY models relevant for Dark Matter.
Findings
Tau polarization measurement is feasible at the ILC using 1-prong hadronic decays.
Tau polarization analysis effectively differentiates mSUGRA and SUSY-GUT scenarios.
The method enhances understanding of SUSY models' implications for Dark Matter.
Abstract
We discuss first a method of measuring polarisation at the ILC using the 1--prong hadronic decays of the . We then show in this contribution how a study of the sector and particularly use of decay polarisation can offer a very good handle for distinguishing between mSUGRA and a SUSY-GUT scenario, both of which can give rise to appropriate Dark Matter.
