Gauge fixing methods and Gribov copies effects in lattice QCD
P. J. Silva, O. Oliveira

TL;DR
This paper compares two Landau gauge fixing methods in lattice QCD and investigates how Gribov copies systematically affect the calculation of gluon and ghost propagators.
Contribution
It introduces a comparison of gauge fixing methods and analyzes the impact of Gribov copies on propagator computations in lattice QCD.
Findings
Different gauge fixing methods yield varying gauge fixing functional maxima.
Gribov copies have a systematic effect on gluon and ghost propagators.
The study highlights the importance of gauge fixing choice in lattice QCD calculations.
Abstract
We compare two Landau gauge fixing methods, aiming to find the global maximum of the gauge fixing functional. Moreover, a systematic effect of Gribov copies in the gluon and ghost propagators computed in Landau gauge is presented and discussed.
