TL;DR
This paper uses heavy quark effective field theory and QCD sum rules to systematically study bottom baryon masses, achieving results consistent with recent experimental observations.
Contribution
It provides a detailed theoretical analysis of bottom baryon masses up to order 1/m_Q using HQET and QCD sum rules, aligning well with experimental data.
Findings
Chromo-magnetic splitting matches experimental data
Mass predictions for bottom baryons are consistent with observations
Systematic approach up to 1/m_Q in HQET
Abstract
Recently CDF and D0 collaborations observed several bottom baryons. In this work we perform a systematic study of the masses of bottom baryons up to in the framework of heavy quark effective field theory (HQET) using the QCD sum rule approach. The extracted chromo-magnetic splitting between the bottom baryon heavy doublet agrees well with the experimental data.
