Search for the Invisible Decay of $\jpsi$ in $\psi(2S)\to\pi+\pi^-J/\psi$
M. Ablikim, J. Z.Bai, et al

TL;DR
This study searches for invisible decays of the J/psi particle via psi(2S) decays, setting an upper limit on such decays and marking the first investigation of this kind.
Contribution
First experimental search for J/psi decays to invisible final states using psi(2S) data, establishing an upper limit on the branching ratio.
Findings
No evidence of invisible J/psi decays was observed.
An upper limit of 1.2×10^{-2} was set on the ratio of invisible to mu+mu- decay modes.
This work provides constraints for new physics models involving invisible particles.
Abstract
Using 14.0 million \jpsi\psipto\jpsi\pi^+\pi^-\psi1.2\times 10^{-2}\frac{{\cal B}(\jpsi\ar {invisible})}{{\cal B}(\jpsi\ar\mu^+\mu^-)}J/\psi$ decay to an invisible final state.
