TL;DR
This paper explores the vacuum states and spontaneous symmetry breaking in a renormalizable non-commutative scalar field theory, specifically the $4$ model, revealing new non-trivial configurations.
Contribution
It introduces non-trivial vacuum solutions for the renormalizable non-commutative $4$ model and examines the related spontaneous symmetry breaking phenomena.
Findings
Identified non-trivial vacuum configurations in the non-commutative $4$ model
Analyzed the associated linear sigma model and its symmetry breaking
Provided insights into the structure of vacua in non-commutative scalar theories
Abstract
In this paper we find non-trivial vacuum states for the renormalizable non-commutative model. An associated linear sigma model is then considered. We further investigate the corresponding spontaneous symmetry breaking.
