On the Lifetime of Quasi-Stationary States in Non-Relativistic QED
David Hasler, Ira Herbst, Matthias Huber

TL;DR
This paper investigates the lifetime of quasi-stationary states in non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics using the Pauli-Fierz model, providing bounds on their stability.
Contribution
It introduces modified analytical techniques to establish bounds on the lifetime of resonances in the Pauli-Fierz model of non-relativistic QED.
Findings
Derived upper bounds on state lifetimes
Established lower bounds on state lifetimes
Enhanced existing analysis methods for resonance stability
Abstract
We consider resonances in the Pauli-Fierz model of non-relativistic QED. We use and slightly modify the analysis developed by Bach, Froehlich, and Sigal to obtain an upper and lower bound on the lifetime of quasi-stationary states.
