Comment on "Berry Phase in a Composite System"
Li Han, Yong Guo

TL;DR
This comment critiques a recent study on Berry phase in composite systems, arguing that its results are quantitatively incorrect and that the proposed subsystem Berry phase lacks proper definition.
Contribution
It clarifies the inaccuracies in the previous work and highlights issues with the definition of subsystem Berry phase in composite quantum systems.
Findings
Previous results are quantitatively incorrect.
The proposed subsystem Berry phase is not well-defined.
The critique emphasizes the need for proper definitions in quantum phase studies.
Abstract
We show in this comment that the results obtained in a recent work by Yi et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 92, 150406 (2004)] are quantitatively not correct and the proposed subsystem Berry phase is not well-defined.
