The strong coupling constant $g_{D^* D \pi}$ and final-state interactions
Zhi-Gang Wang

TL;DR
This paper investigates how final-state interactions influence the strong coupling constant g_{D^* D b7 b7 b7} in D* decays, using light-cone QCD sum rules at large momentum transfers.
Contribution
It introduces a method to incorporate final-state interactions into the calculation of the strong coupling constant using light-cone QCD sum rules.
Findings
Final-state interactions significantly affect the value of g_{D^* D b7 b7 b7}.
Large momentum transfer assumption validates the operator product expansion.
The approach improves understanding of strong decay processes involving D mesons.
Abstract
In this article, we study the contribution from the final-state interactions to the strong coupling constant . We take an assumption that the momentum transfers in the strong decay be large to validate the operator product expansion in the light-cone QCD sum rules. At large momentum transfers, the final-state interactions play an important role, and we should take them into account.
