Experimental Review on Lepton Universality and Lepton Flavour Violation tests at the B-factories
Alberto Lusiani

TL;DR
This paper reviews experimental results from B-factories BABAR and Belle on tests of lepton universality and searches for lepton flavour violation using tau lepton pairs since 1999.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of the experimental efforts and findings related to lepton universality and lepton flavour violation at B-factories.
Findings
Results support lepton universality within current experimental precision.
No evidence of lepton flavour violation observed in tau decays.
Large data samples enabled stringent tests of lepton properties.
Abstract
Since 1999, the B-factories collaborations BABAR and Belle have accumulated and studied large samples of tau lepton pairs. The experimental results on Lepton Universality checks and Lepton Flavour Violation searches are reported.
