Probing Transversity GPDs in Photo and Electroproduction of Two Vector Mesons
B. Pire, L. Szymanowski

TL;DR
This paper discusses a method to access chiral-odd transversity GPDs through electroproduction of two vector mesons, highlighting the importance of transversely polarized rho mesons for probing these elusive distributions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to probe transversity GPDs by using the electroproduction of two vector mesons with specific polarization states.
Findings
Electroproduction of two mesons enables access to transversity GPDs.
Using a transversely polarized rho meson is key for this probing method.
The approach offers a new avenue for studying chiral-odd distributions.
Abstract
Electroproduction of two mesons well separated in rapidity allows the first feasible selective access to chiral-odd transversity GPDs provided one of these mesons is a transversely polarized vector meson rho_T.
