TL;DR
This paper discusses advancements in non-prompt track reconstruction in the SiD detector, highlighting the impact of longitudinal segmentation and introducing a validation package for tracking performance.
Contribution
It introduces improvements in non-prompt track reconstruction and a new generic validation tool for tracking performance in silicon detectors.
Findings
Enhanced non-prompt track reconstruction performance
Initial results on longitudinal segmentation effects
Development of a tracking validation package
Abstract
We present recent improvements in the performance of the reconstruction of non-prompt track in the SiD Detector Concept Design, including initial results on the effect of longitudinal segmentation in the SiD tracker. We also describe a generic tracking validation package developed at SCIPP.
