TL;DR
This paper reports on the calculation of excited meson masses using dynamical clover-Wilson lattice QCD simulations at pion masses down to 500 MeV, employing a correlator matrix analysis.
Contribution
It provides new lattice QCD results for excited meson spectra with a detailed analysis method and comparison to experimental data.
Findings
Meson masses computed at pion masses down to 500 MeV
Spectroscopy results show reasonable agreement with experimental values
Use of correlator matrix enhances spectral extraction accuracy
Abstract
We present results for masses of excited mesons from dynamical clover-Wilson lattices provided by the CP-PACS collaboration at pion masses down to 500 MeV. Our analysis of the data is based on using a matrix of correlators from various source and sink operators. The spectroscopy results are discussed and compared to experimental values.
