Ernest Ma (UC Riverside)

TL;DR
This paper explores how the Delta(27) symmetry group can produce near tribimaximal neutrino mixing and predicts an effective mass of 0.14 eV for neutrinoless double beta decay based on current data.
Contribution
It introduces a model utilizing Delta(27) symmetry to achieve near tribimaximal neutrino mixing, linking group theory to neutrino phenomenology.
Findings
Predicts effective mass m_{ee} = 0.14 eV in neutrinoless double beta decay
Demonstrates the use of Delta(27) symmetry in neutrino mixing models
Aligns model predictions with current neutrino oscillation data
Abstract
The discrete subgroup Delta(27) of SU(3) has the interesting multiplication rule 3 X 3 = bar{3} + bar{3} + bar{3}, which is used to obtain near tribimaximal neutrino mixing. Using present neutrino oscillation data as input, this model predicts that the effective mass m_{ee} measured in neutrinoless double beta decay will be 0.14 eV.
