Diffractive production of quarkonia
Antoni Szczurek

TL;DR
This paper explores the mechanisms of diffractive production of quarkonia, specifically eta' and J/psi, using perturbative QCD, photon fusion, and photoproduction data, highlighting the theoretical approaches and absorption effects involved.
Contribution
It presents a comparative analysis of diffractive production mechanisms for eta' and J/psi, linking perturbative QCD and photoproduction data to deepen understanding.
Findings
Diffractive pQCD approach applied to eta' production.
Photon fusion considered as an alternative mechanism.
Amplitude for J/psi production linked to HERA photoproduction data.
Abstract
I discuss two selected examples of diffractive production of quarkonia: and . In the first case I consider diffractive pQCD approach and fusion, in the second case the amplitude is linked to the amplitude of the process for photoproduction at HERA. Absorption effects are discussed briefly for the second reaction.
