Z_3 Dark Matter and Two-Loop Neutrino Mass
Ernest Ma (UC Riverside)

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel Z_3 symmetry-based dark matter model that also explains neutrino masses through a two-loop radiative process, expanding beyond traditional Z_2 frameworks.
Contribution
It proposes a new Z_3 dark matter paradigm that simultaneously accounts for neutrino mass generation via a two-loop radiative mechanism.
Findings
Introduces a Z_3 symmetry for dark matter stability.
Develops a two-loop neutrino mass generation model.
Provides theoretical consistency for the combined framework.
Abstract
Dark matter is usually distinguished from ordinary matter by an odd-even parity, i.e. the discrete symmetry Z_2. The new idea of Z_3 dark matter is proposed with a special application to generating radiative Majorana neutrino masses in two-loop order.
