Flavor Dependence of T-odd PDFs
Leonard P. Gamberg, Gary R. Goldstein, Marc Schlegel

TL;DR
This paper investigates the flavor dependence of T-odd parton distributions for u- and d-quarks using a spectator model, highlighting implications for azimuthal asymmetries in SIDIS and Drell-Yan processes.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of flavor dependence of T-odd PDFs and predicts single spin asymmetries in SIDIS based on the spectator model.
Findings
Flavor dependence of $h_{1}^{ot}$ affects azimuthal asymmetries.
Calculated $h_{1L}^{ot}$ predicts $A_{UL}^{ ext{sin(2$ heta$)}}$ asymmetry.
Provides insights into transversely polarized quark distributions.
Abstract
The flavor dependence of the naive time reversal odd (``T-odd'') parton distributions for - and -quarks are explored in the spectator model. The flavor dependence of is of significance for the analysis of the azimuthal asymmetries in unpolarized SIDIS and DY-processes, as well as for the overall physical understanding of the distribution of transversely polarized quarks in unpolarized nucleons. As a by-product of the formalism, we calculate the chiral-odd but ``T-even'' function which enables us to present a prediction for the single spin asymmetry for a longitudinally polarized target in SIDIS.
