N. Ben Bekhti, M. Murphy, P. Richter, T. Westmeier

TL;DR
This paper investigates the properties of circumgalactic gas in the Milky Way by combining absorption and emission line data to analyze its composition, distribution, and physical state.
Contribution
It introduces a combined analysis of CaII/NaI absorption and HI emission to study the Milky Way's halo gas properties.
Findings
Identification of metal-rich gas in the halo.
Insights into the small-scale structure of halo gas.
Characterization of physical conditions of high-velocity clouds.
Abstract
We combine CaII/NaI absorption and HI 21 cm emission line measurements to analyse the metal abundances, the distribution, the small-scale structure, and the physical conditions of intermediate- and high-velocity gas in the Galactic halo.
