Cryptanalysis of shifted conjugacy authentication protocol
Jonathan Longrigg, Alexander Ushakov

TL;DR
This paper presents the first practical attack on a shifted conjugacy-based authentication protocol, revealing its vulnerabilities and suggesting improvements to enhance security.
Contribution
It introduces the first practical cryptanalysis of the shifted conjugacy authentication protocol and proposes potential enhancements.
Findings
Identified practical vulnerabilities in the protocol
Demonstrated effective attack methods
Suggested improvements for protocol security
Abstract
In this paper we present the first practical attack on the shifted conjugacy-based authentication protocol proposed by P. Dehornoy. We discuss the weaknesses of that primitive and propose ways to improve the protocol.
