TL;DR
This paper explores the role of Gribov poles in high-energy diffractive physics, analyzing how non-perturbative effects from confinement influence two-gluon exchange calculations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach incorporating Gribov poles and confinement effects into the calculation of two-gluon exchange in diffractive processes.
Findings
Identification of Gribov poles affecting diffraction
Inclusion of non-perturbative effects from confinement
Enhanced understanding of two-gluon exchange dynamics
Abstract
High-energy diffractive physics has several interests for theoreticians and experimentalists. We first remind the reader of the main characteristics of diffraction in particles physics and present the calculation of a two-gluon exchange in which non-perturbative effects are introduced via new singularities from confinement.
