TL;DR
This paper introduces analytical methods to calculate the stray magnetic field of bistable wires based on their magnetization profiles, simplifying the model by neglecting certain contributions and validating results against experimental data.
Contribution
It provides a new analytical approach to determine the stray field of bistable wires from their magnetization profiles, focusing on the core contributions.
Findings
Results qualitatively match experimental data
Simplified model neglects outer shell and wire ends
Analytical calculations offer insights into stray field distribution
Abstract
We present new analytical calculations of the spatial dependence of the stray field of a bistable magnetic wire from the magnetization profile of the wire. Contributions from the outer shell and from the wire ends are neglected. The results qualitatively agree with experimental data, taken from literature.
