TL;DR
This paper presents a preliminary measurement of the slope parameter alpha for the eta to 3 pi0 decay at KLOE, using Dalitz plot analysis with 420 pb^-1 of data, aligning with theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It provides the first measurement of alpha at KLOE, offering experimental data that supports chiral perturbation theory calculations.
Findings
Measured alpha = -0.027 ± 0.004 (stat) +0.004/-0.006 (syst)
Result consistent with chiral perturbation theory
Uses Dalitz plot analysis with 420 pb^-1 data
Abstract
We report a preliminary measurement of the slope parameter for the decay carried out with KLOE at DANE; where is the parameter describing the energy dependence of the square of the matrix element for this decay. By fitting the event density in the Dalitz plot with a collected statistic of 420 pb we determine . This result is consistent with current chiral perturbation theory calculations within the unitary approach.
