QCD prerequisites for extra dimension searches
Prakash Mathews, V. Ravindran

TL;DR
This paper investigates QCD corrections to dilepton production in TeV-scale gravity models, demonstrating that including NLO corrections stabilizes cross sections and providing K-factors for different models and colliders.
Contribution
It presents the calculation of NLO QCD corrections and K-factors for dilepton production in ADD and RS models at LHC and Tevatron, enhancing theoretical predictions.
Findings
NLO QCD corrections stabilize cross sections against scale variations.
K-factors for ADD and RS models are provided for LHC and Tevatron.
QCD corrections improve the reliability of extra dimension searches.
Abstract
For the dilepton production at hadron collider in TeV scale gravity models, inclusion of QCD corrections to NLO stabilises the cross section with respect to scale variations. The K-factors for the various distributions for the ADD and RS model at both LHC and Tevatron are presented.
