Sharp bounds on 2m/r for static spherical objects
Paschalis Karageorgis, John G. Stalker

TL;DR
This paper derives precise bounds on the ratio of Hawking mass to areal radius in static, spherically symmetric spacetimes, based on eigenvalue assumptions of the Einstein tensor.
Contribution
It provides new sharp bounds on 2m/r for static spherical objects under specific eigenvalue conditions of the Einstein tensor.
Findings
Established bounds are sharp and optimal.
Results apply to a variety of assumptions on Einstein tensor eigenvalues.
Enhances understanding of mass-radius relationships in spherical spacetimes.
Abstract
Sharp bounds are obtained, under a variety of assumptions on the eigenvalues of the Einstein tensor, for the ratio of the Hawking mass to the areal radius in static, spherically symmetric space-times.
