TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the use of an asymmetric beam splitter to observe generalized Hong-Ou-Mandel effects with three and four photons, enabling characterization of their temporal distinguishability.
Contribution
It introduces a novel interferometric method using an asymmetric beam splitter to analyze multi-photon temporal distinguishability.
Findings
Successful observation of generalized Hong-Ou-Mandel effects for three and four photons.
Demonstrated the capability to characterize photon temporal distinguishability.
Provides a new tool for quantum photonic experiments.
Abstract
By using an asymmetric beam splitter, we observe the generalized Hong-Ou-Mandel effects for three and four photons, respectively. Furthermore, we can use this generalized Hong-Ou-Mandel interferometer to characterize temporal distinguishability.
