TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of the e+e- to K+K- cross section in the 1.04 to 1.38 GeV energy range, using the SND detector at VEPP-2M, supporting the vector meson dominance model.
Contribution
First detailed measurement of the e+e- to K+K- cross section in this energy range with high precision using the SND detector.
Findings
Cross section well described by vector meson dominance model.
Measured cross section with 4.4% statistical accuracy.
Systematic uncertainty of 5.2% in measurements.
Abstract
The cross section of the process was measured in the energy range = 1.04--1.38 GeV in the SND experiment at the VEPP-2M collider. The measured cross section is described by the model of vector meson dominance with contributions from the light vector mesons , , and their lowest excitations. The mean statistical accuracy of the measurement is 4.4 %, and the systematic uncertainty is 5.2 %.
