Search for direct CP violating charge asymmetries in $K^\pm\to\pi^\pm\pi^+\pi^-$ and $K^\pm\to\pi^\pm\pi^0\pi^0$ decays
J.R. Batley, et al

TL;DR
This paper reports a highly precise measurement of direct CP violation asymmetries in specific kaon decays, using a novel technique and large data sample from the NA48/2 experiment at CERN.
Contribution
The study introduces a new asymmetry measurement method with simultaneous kaon beams, achieving unprecedented precision in CP violation measurements in kaon decays.
Findings
Measured charge asymmetries: $A^c_g=(-1.5 ext{±}2.2) imes10^{-4}$ and $A^n_g=(1.8 ext{±}1.8) imes10^{-4}$.
Used large data samples: $3.11 imes 10^9$ and $9.13 imes 10^7$ decays.
Results are limited mainly by data sample size.
Abstract
A measurement of the direct CP violating charge asymmetries of the Dalitz plot linear slopes in and decays by the NA48/2 experiment at CERN SPS is presented. A new technique of asymmetry measurement involving simultaneous and beams and a large data sample collected allowed a result of an unprecedented precision. The charge asymmetries were measured to be with decays, and with decays. The precision of the results is limited mainly by the size of the data sample.
