Target mass corrections and twist-3 in the nucleon spin structure functions
Y. B. Dong

TL;DR
This paper investigates the impact of target mass corrections on the twist-3 contributions to nucleon spin structure functions using Nachtmann moments, revealing significant effects on the extraction of twist-3 matrix elements.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of target mass corrections to twist-3 operators in nucleon spin structure functions using Nachtmann moments, highlighting their importance.
Findings
Target mass corrections significantly affect twist-3 contributions.
Corrections influence the extraction of the twist-3 matrix element tilde d_2.
Nachtmann moments provide a reliable framework for these corrections.
Abstract
The Nachtmann moment is employed to study the contribution of twist-3 operator to the nucleon spin structure functions. Target mass corrections to the Cornwall-Norton moments of the spin structure functions are discussed. It is found that the corrections play a sizeable role to the contribution of the twist-3 extracted from the Cornwall-Norton moments.
