TL;DR
This paper reports recent results from the CDF experiment at Fermilab, including observations of B_s oscillations, bottom baryons, and searches for rare decays, based on approximately 1 fb$^{-1}$ of data.
Contribution
It presents new measurements and discoveries in heavy flavor physics, including the first observation of certain bottom baryon states and updated B hadron lifetime measurements.
Findings
Observation of B_s oscillation frequency
First observation of bottom baryon Σ_b^{(*)±} states
Searches for rare b→sμ+μ− and charmless B decays
Abstract
We present recent CDF results based on approximately 1 fb of collisions at TeV delivered at Fermilab Tevatron. Results shown include the observation of the oscillation frequency, the first observation of bottom baryon states, updates on hadrons lifetimes, and searches for rare decays in the transition and in charmless two-body B decays.
