Jozsef Cserti, Andras Palyi, Csaba Peterfalvi

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that wavefunctions in circular graphene p-n junctions create caustics, which can be explained using the concept of negative refractive index within geometrical optics.
Contribution
It introduces the interpretation of wavefunction caustics in graphene p-n junctions through negative refractive index concepts.
Findings
Wavefunctions form caustics in circular graphene p-n junctions
Caustics can be explained with negative refractive index
Provides a geometrical optics perspective on quantum wave behavior
Abstract
We show that the wavefunctions form caustics in circular graphene p-n junctions which in the framework of geometrical optics can be interpreted with negative refractive index.
