F.W.Bopp, R.Engel, J.Ranft, and S.Roesler

TL;DR
This paper predicts baryon to antibaryon production ratios at LHC energies using the DPMJET-III Monte Carlo model, based on analysis of RHIC data, to understand baryon stopping in high-energy collisions.
Contribution
It introduces LHC predictions for baryon to antibaryon ratios derived from a validated Monte Carlo model based on RHIC data.
Findings
Predicted significant baryon stopping at LHC energies.
Validated DPMJET-III model with RHIC data for LHC extrapolations.
Provides detailed baryon production ratios for future experiments.
Abstract
A sizable component of stopped baryons is predicted for pp and P bP b collisions at LHC. Based on an analysis of RHIC data within framework of our multichain Monte Carlo DPMJET-III the LHC predictions are presented.
