G. Nandhini, M.V.Sangaranarayanan

TL;DR
This paper derives the partition function for the 2D nearest neighbor Ising model with an external magnetic field and compares it with Onsager's predictions, confirming critical temperature estimates align with Yang and Lee's results.
Contribution
The paper provides a derivation of the partition function for the 2D Ising model in a magnetic field and validates critical temperature estimates against established results.
Findings
Partition function derived for the 2D Ising model with magnetic field
Good agreement with Onsager's partition function predictions
Critical temperature estimates match Yang and Lee's results
Abstract
The partition function for two-dimensional nearest neighbour Ising models in the presence of a magnetic field is derived . A comparison with the partition functions predicted by Onsager is carried out. The critical temperature estimated by two different methods yields good agreement with the result of Yang and Lee.
