alpha'-Corrections to Heterotic Superstring Effective Action Revisited
W.A. Chemissany, Mees de Roo, Sudhakar Panda

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the supersymmetric R^2 effective action for heterotic strings, derived from the Lorentz Chern-Simons term, is equivalent to other heterotic string effective actions at order α', up to field redefinitions.
Contribution
It shows the equivalence of different heterotic string effective actions at order α' through supersymmetrization and field redefinitions.
Findings
Effective actions are equivalent modulo field redefinitions
Supersymmetrization of the Lorentz Chern-Simons term is key
Consistency across different derivation methods is established
Abstract
In this letter we establish that the supersymmetric R^2 effective action for the heterotic string, obtained from the supersymmetrisation of the Lorentz Chern-Simons term, is to order equivalent modulo field redefinitions to heterotic string effective actions computed by different methods.
