Z_{12-I} Orbifold Compactification toward SUSY Standard Model
Jihn E. Kim

TL;DR
This paper explores a specific string theory compactification, Z_{12-I} orbifold, to develop supersymmetric standard models and identifies an effective R-parity, ensuring phenomenological viability.
Contribution
It introduces a Z_{12-I} orbifold compactification approach that yields supersymmetric standard models with an effective R-parity from string theory.
Findings
Successful construction of a SUSY standard model from Z_{12-I} orbifold.
Identification of an effective R-parity in the string model.
Phenomenological constraints satisfied by gauge singlet VEVs.
Abstract
We explain the orbifold compactification in string models and present a Z_{12-I} orbifold compactification toward supersymmetric standard models. We also point out an effective R-parity from this string construction. The VEVs of gauge singlets are chosen such that phenomenological constraints are satisfied.
