A.K.Giri, B.Mawlong, R. Mohanta

TL;DR
This paper explores using color-suppressed B_d^0 decays to D^{*0} K^{*0} for extracting weak phase information, offering a penguin-free approach that could help determine the CKM phase gamma.
Contribution
It proposes a novel method utilizing specific decay channels free from penguin contributions to measure the CKM phase gamma.
Findings
Branching ratios are around 10^{-5} to 10^{-6}.
Decay channels are accessible at current B factories.
Method could effectively determine the phase gamma.
Abstract
The decay channels are investigated for extracting weak phase information. These channels are described by color-suppressed tree diagrams only and are free from penguin contributions. The branching ratios for these channels are found to be which can be measured at the currently running factories. The method presented here may be well-suited to determine the phase .
