Heavy Flavor Production in DGLAP improved Saturation Model
S. Sapeta

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a saturation model incorporating DGLAP evolution effectively describes heavy flavor production in deep inelastic scattering, and explores how heavy quarks influence saturation properties.
Contribution
It introduces a DGLAP improved saturation model that accurately models charm and beauty quark production, highlighting the impact of heavy quarks on saturation dynamics.
Findings
Model successfully describes heavy flavor production data.
Heavy quarks modify saturation properties.
DGLAP evolution enhances the model's predictive power.
Abstract
The saturation model with DGLAP evolution is shown to give good description of the production of the charm and beauty quarks in deep inelastic scattering. The modifications of saturation properties caused by the presence of heavy quarks are also discussed.
