On Phases of Generic Toric Singularities
Tapobrata Sarkar, Ajay Singh

TL;DR
This paper systematically analyzes the phases of generic toric singularities using Gauged Linear Sigma Models, providing a comprehensive method to understand their structure and phase transitions, including non-supersymmetric cases.
Contribution
It introduces a method to extract complete phase information of generic $U(1)^r$ GLSMs from the Lagrangian, extending to non-supersymmetric spaces.
Findings
Complete phase characterization of generic toric singularities
Application to $L^{a,b,c}$ spaces and their non-supersymmetric counterparts
Method for analyzing GLSM phases via Lagrangian modifications
Abstract
We systematically study the phases of generic toric singularities, using methods initiated in hep-th/0612046. These correspond to Gauged Linear Sigma Models with arbitrary charges. We show that complete information about generic GLSMs can be obtained by studying the GLSM Lagrangian, appropriately modified in the different phases of the theory. This can be used to study the different phases of spaces and their non-supersymmetric counterparts.
