Geometric Transition as a Change of Polarization
Sergio Montanez

TL;DR
This paper explores the Dijkgraaf-Vafa topological string duality by analyzing the partition function's wavefunction behavior, revealing that the geometric transition can be interpreted as a change of polarization.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the geometric transition in topological string duality corresponds to a change of polarization in the wavefunction framework.
Findings
Geometric transition corresponds to a change of polarization.
Partition function behaves as a wavefunction in the duality.
Supports wavefunction interpretation of topological string dualities.
Abstract
Taking the results of hep-th/0702110 we study the Dijkgraaf-Vafa open/closed topological string duality by considering the wavefunction behavior of the partition function. We find that the geometric transition associated with the duality can be seen as a change of polarization.
