TL;DR
This paper derives the Lax pair for a system modeling the propagation of ultra-short electromagnetic pulses in an anisotropic medium with quantum particles having arbitrary dipole moments, advancing understanding of soliton dynamics in such systems.
Contribution
It introduces a Lax pair formulation for the reduced Maxwell-Bloch equations with arbitrary dipole moments, enabling integrability analysis of complex anisotropic media.
Findings
Lax pair derived for the system of equations
Enables analysis of optical solitons in anisotropic media
Provides a foundation for further soliton solution studies
Abstract
We find the Lax pair for a system of reduced Maxwell-Bloch equations that describes the propagation of two-component extremely short electromagnetic pulses through the medium containing two-level quantum particles with arbitrary dipole moments.
