Method to measure neutron beam polarization with 2x1 Neutron Spin Filter
S. Masalovich

TL;DR
This paper presents a novel method for accurately measuring neutron beam polarization using a specially designed polarized 3He gas-based Neutron Spin Filter, enabling rapid and precise polarization assessments.
Contribution
The paper introduces a new design of the Neutron Spin Filter cell that improves measurement speed and accuracy for neutron beam polarization.
Findings
The method achieves high measurement accuracy.
The specialized cell design allows for rapid polarization measurements.
The approach is suitable for practical neutron beam experiments.
Abstract
A method to measure a beam polarization with the use of polarized 3He gas is discussed. It is shown that special design of the Neutron Spin Filter cell allows for a fast and accurate measurement. The accuracy of this method is analyzed.
