EMC effect in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering process
Baogui Lu, Bo-Qiang Ma

TL;DR
This paper investigates the nuclear EMC effect through semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering, analyzing various hadron productions to understand the nuclear sea content and compare different theoretical models.
Contribution
It introduces a method to probe the nuclear sea content by examining specific hadron production ratios in semi-inclusive DIS off nuclear targets.
Findings
Ratios involving $ar{ ext{Lambda}}$ and $ ext{Lambda}$ reveal differences in nuclear sea content.
Certain hadron production ratios are sensitive to the nuclear EMC effect.
The approach can distinguish between different theoretical models of the nuclear EMC effect.
Abstract
By considering the -dependence of , , , , , , , hadron productions in charged lepton semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering off nuclear target (using Fe as an example) and deuteron D target, % at GeV, we find that and are ideal to figure out the nuclear sea content, which is predicted to be different by different models accounting for the nuclear EMC effect.
