J. Lundin, L. Stenflo, G. Brodin, M. Marklund, P. K. Shukla

TL;DR
This paper extends the theory of large amplitude circularly polarized waves in plasma to include vacuum polarization effects, deriving a comprehensive dispersion relation that unifies previous models.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized dispersion relation for circularly polarized waves in plasma accounting for vacuum polarization effects, unifying earlier results.
Findings
Derived a general dispersion relation incorporating vacuum polarization
Unified previous models into a comprehensive theoretical framework
Enhanced understanding of wave propagation in magnetized plasma with quantum effects
Abstract
The theory for large amplitude circularly polarized waves propagating along an external magnetic field is extended in order to include also vacuum polarization effects. A general dispersion relation, which unites previous results, is derived.
