TL;DR
This paper introduces cluster-type entangled coherent states (CTECS), explores their properties, and proposes a cavity QED scheme for their generation using atom-cavity interactions and atomic measurements.
Contribution
It presents a novel class of entangled coherent states and a practical scheme for their generation in cavity QED systems, advancing quantum information processing.
Findings
CTECS exhibit unique nonlocal properties.
A feasible cavity QED generation scheme is proposed.
Atomic measurements enable creation of nonlocal entangled states.
Abstract
We present the cluster-type entangled coherent states (CTECS) and discuss their properties. A cavity QED generation scheme using suitable choices of atom-cavity interactions, obtained via detunings adjustments and the application of classical external fields, is also presented. After the realization of simple atomic measurements, CTECS representing nonlocal electromagnetic fields in separate cavities can be generated.
