E. Bergshoeff, I. De Baetselier, T. Nutma

TL;DR
This paper explores how decompositions of E(11) can determine the representations of de-form potentials, linking them to embedding tensors that classify gaugings in maximal supergravity, supported by computational tools.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute duality group representations of de-form potentials via E(11) decompositions, connecting them to embedding tensors in supergravity.
Findings
De-form potentials correspond to embedding tensors in supergravity.
A computational tool was developed for these calculations.
The approach unifies the classification of gaugings in maximal supergravity.
Abstract
We show how, using different decompositions of E(11), one can calculate the representations under the duality group of the so--called "de-form" potentials. Evidence is presented that these potentials are in one-to-one correspondence to the embedding tensors that classify the gaugings of all maximal gauged supergravities. We supply the computer program underlying our calculations.
