TL;DR
This paper explores the potential effects of unparticle physics, a concept from conformal field theory, on deep inelastic scattering, focusing on parity violation asymmetry as a possible experimental signal.
Contribution
It demonstrates how unparticle physics could influence DIS processes and identifies parity violation asymmetry as a sensitive probe for unparticle effects based on the unparticle scale dimension.
Findings
Parity violation asymmetry in DIS is sensitive to unparticle scale dimension d_U.
Unparticle effects could manifest as measurable deviations in DIS experiments.
The behavior of the parity violation signal varies with the unparticle scale dimension.
Abstract
The unparticle stuff scenario related to the notrivial IR fixed point in 4D-conformal field theory is recently suggested by Georgi. We illustrate its physical effects in Deep Inelastic Scattering (DIS) process. A possible signal of unparticle related to parity violation asymmetry in DIS is investigated. It is found out that the behavior of this parity violation signal is sensitive to the value of the scale dimension of unpaticle.
